Die Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) im Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort auf Big Island, Hawaii, vom 5-8 Jänner 2009 ist eine große internationale Konferenz zum Austausch von Experten zu den Themen Information Systems und Technology.
Dieses Jahr kommen etwa 700 Teilnehmer aus mehr als 30 Nationen und den USA. Es gibt 16 zeitgleiche Paper-Sessions, bei denen etwa 500 wissenschaftliche Papers vorgestellt werden, die auf IEEE veröffentlicht werden.
